I attended an amazing little liberal arts school in southeastern Pennsylvania for my undergraduate degree--York College. While at York, I was fortunate enough to study with Dr. PengKwei Chang, who taught me about evolutionary psychology, biological psychology, and a lot about life. I completed my Master's with Todd Shackelford at Florida Atlantic University. Working with Todd taught me how to be much more productive than I previously was! I am now working on my PhD at the University of Texas at Austin where I study with David Buss.

I am married and instead of children, we have filled our house with 3 cats.

My husband teaches color guard and I help him out from time to time. I am learning to be a winter guard judge. I sit on the board of directors of a non-profit youth organization dedicated to bringing music to the youth of York County, PA. We have a winter drumline and are starting a drum corps.
