We need undergraduate research assistants on a volunteer or 357 basis. Below are the projects that are currently running and the types of jobs that are available. Please email me if you are interested and we can set up a time for a short interview.

Summer 2008

Sexual Overperception Bias

We are working on follow-up studies testing evolutionary hypotheses about individual differences and context effects of men's sexual overperception bias. We need RAs over the summer who can help us to obtain and organize stimuli, manage participants in experimental sessions, enter data, and help with literature searches. We prefer students who have an interest in the topic, or in evolutionary psychology in general, especially students who can devote multiple consecutive semesters to our lab.

Homicide case files

This study has been on-going for a number of years and we have a lot of hard copies of homicide case files that need to be digitized. We will teach you how to use a PDF-scanner so that you can input the hard copies as searchable PDF files. You may find this to be a valuable skill that you can use with your own research or schoolwork.
