Internet-based psychological research provides many advantages over traditional lab based research, although there are serious considerations as well. This one-day workshop will introduce you to the primary mean by which you can solicit participants, present stimuli, and collect data using the Internet. The Internet need not solely be used for survey research and experimental and observational designs will be discussed. In addition, participants will learn the basics for setting up a website, producing a data collection page, and storing data.

John Eustis Williams is Asst. Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Northern Iowa. He has taught and coordinated several workshops on Internet Research for Psychology.
