Questions

All application materials must be received by January 31, 2007; applications not received by that date cannot be considered. Applicants will be notified of their status by no later than March 1, 2007. Applicants should first join SPSP if they are not already members (for detail, see Membership Information at the SPSP site).

To apply for SISP, please submit the following materials:

1. A completed application (please note there are two forms--one for American students, and one for European students, on the Applications page) which will include the following information:

---A vita showing your education, honors and awards, publications, and conference presentations (no more than 2 pages)

---A statement of research interests (no more than 1 page)

---A brief statement regarding your source(s) of funding for travel and tuition fees if accepted (to be used to award financial scholarships)

(Please note there are two application forms--one for American students and one for European students.)

2. A letter of recommendation from your major advisor (no more than one page). The letter of recommendation should be sent by email as a pdf or word document to sisp2007@gmail.com with the applicant's name in the subject line.
