Dr. Casasola's academic focus is infant cognitive
development and early word learning. She is particularly interested
in the interaction between infants' developing cognitive abilities
and their acquisition of language. Most recently, she has been
exploring the relationship between infants' spatial knowledge
and their acquisition of spatial language.
