He graduated with Thesis Honors from Tufts University in 2002, with a B.A. in Psychology. After acquiring his bachelors degree, Chris worked as a research assistant at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Belmont, Massachusetts investigating biological trait markers of schizophrenia. Chris joined The Sexual Psychophysiology Lab in 2005 and is expecting to acquire his M.A. in clinical psychology in the spring of 2008. Chris' research interests lie within the areas of sexual psychophysiology, health psychology, and clinical treatment outcome. His current research is aimed at acquiring a better understand of the differing physiological and self-reported sexual arousal patterns in men and women [PDF] [PDF], investigating the acute effects of nicotine on physiological and sexual arousal in men and women [PDF], and investigating sexual risk behaviors in undergraduates, particularly as they pertain to recreational sexual enhancer use. Additionally, Chris collaborates with other clinical psychology faculty at UT examining predictors of cognitive behavioral treatment outcome. When he is not working, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and watching films. He also enjoys playing guitar, drawing, and painting and is obsessed with updating his vast music collection. |
