YOUR NAME
This will be your personal website. It is mainly for the purpose of
displaying your research during the course of this class. When assignments are due, please create a
link to them such as the ones below.
Be sure to save any assignments, files, pictures etc. in your homepage
folder so that your links will work.
Do not attempt to set up your links to another source, such as a zip or
floppy disk. I have included a couple
of demo links below. To add a link,
simply type the text you want to appear on your webpage, highlight it and right
click. Then choose hyperlink in the
menu, and type the URL address or select the file (make sure itÕs from your
homepage folder) that you would like it to link to. When posting an assignment, for
instance, create a Word document, save it in your homepage folder (using WS-FTP
if youÕre off campus), and select that document as the hyperlink. Microsoft Word (the newest edition at
least) has all the capabilities youÕll need to create a webpage. Alternatively, you can use Frontpage. Please be sure to save your webpage as index.html. If you use this page as a template, it
is already saved as index.html.
