PSY 334e - Evolutionary Psychology home | syllabus | assignments | grades | Q & A | links I have been reading the material for Psy 334E, and have finished the first 2 chapters in EP and the first three chapters in SG. Though interesting, it is a little dense. I was wondering how detailed we should know the material for the test, and how much of the test will be composed from the reading. You should focus on the main ideas of the reading. Don't worry about the tiny details. The exam will be about 50% from the books and 50% from the lectures. As you've probably noticed, there is a lot of overlap between the books and the lectures. The ideas that are covered in both are the most important. Be sure you know them! FAQs: Can I use an old edition of the text, Evolutionary
Psychology: The New Science of the Mind? Can I meet with you
to ask questions about course content I do not understand or to further
discuss topics or issues in evolutionary psychology? Can I meet with you
to discuss my grade? Am I permitted to
wear headphones during regular class meetings or exams? Am I permitted to use my cell phone in class? Is there extra
credit available in this class? What if I am ill on
exam day? What if I need to miss an exam for another important
reason? Will I be turned
away if I show up more than 15 minutes late for an exam? May I go over my
exams? Do I have to know
how to use the internet and email to be successful in this course? Are review sessions
offered before exams? Do you offer extra
tutoring or study skills help in the course? Do you bring
pencils or erasers to exams in case I show up without one? |
