Research Assistant opportunities

We typically need multiple undergraduate research assistants on a volunteer or 357 basis every semester, including summer. Below are the projects that are currently running and the types of jobs that are available. Please email me if you are interested and we can set up a time for a short interview.

Sexual misperception

We are working on follow-up studies testing evolutionary hypotheses about individual differences and context effects of men's sexual overperception bias. We need RAs who can help us to obtain and organize stimuli, manage participants in experimental sessions, enter data, and help with literature searches. We prefer students who have an interest in the topic, or in evolutionary psychology in general, especially students who can devote multiple consecutive semesters to our lab.

Physical attractiveness studies

We are beginning a new line of research into the effects of individual differences in physical attractiveness on social and romantic experiences.
