About me

I attended the greatest little liberal arts school in the world, Knox College, for my undergraduate degree. During my time there, I majored in both psychology and computer science. During my senior year I had the opportunity to take a course called Evolutionary Psychology with Dr. Frank McAndrew. What I learned in this course made so much sense to me, much more so than the amalgamation of mini-theories presented in other psychology courses. Evolution as the driving principle in human psychology became the obvious paradigm for me. I finished my B.A. in 2003 and then applied to, and now work in, Dr. David Buss's lab.
