Right now, we are scheduling participants and accepting drop-ins (subject to availability) between 12pm-5pm, Mondays and Wednesdays, and 10am to 5pm Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Most experiments last about one hour. If you would like to schedule an appointment, just suggest a few days and times that will work for you. Also, tell us if you have participated in experiments before in our lab (Maddox Lab Seay 4.120). We will email you back to confirm the appointment. 

 
General info:

We run computer based experiments here that involve looking at a series of images on the screen and responding to them by using the keypad on the computer.  You must be a UT student or staff (please bring a UT ID with you) and have 20/20 vision or corrected to 20/20 with glasses or contacts (please bring glasses or wear contacts). 
 

Most of our experiments last about an hour and pay $6-$10. Occasionally we run multi-session experiments which entail running in 2-4 one hour experiments with 1-2 days off between each session.  Subjects receive a larger amount of compensation at the end of the final session ($12-$35) depending on the number of sessions completed. We’re located in Seay 4.120. The Seay building is at the corner of Speedway and Dean Keaton Street (next to the student services building).
