How do I study?
Question
What is the best way to study for the exams? -Lev Vygotsky
Answer
Use the lecture notes as a guide for studying for the exams. If there is a topic described in the book, and I do not talk about it at all in lecture, then I will not ask about it on the exam. If I mention something in class and there is a longer discussion of it in the book, then they are fair game. Often, the goal of the lecture is to give you a general structure for thinking about the topic, or to go through particularly difficult aspects of the topice we're discussing. In those cases, I am assuming the rest of the details are in the book.
Good luck!
