Maybe you know this. Maybe
you don't. If you don't, I think you should know that ever since her arrival at
the firm, Ms. XXX has perpetuated the idea that you have no credibility among
your peers as a lawyer. She says you
falsified papers for trials for which you were the lead investigator both at New York and in Tampa.
She says this is the reason you left both places so abruptly. She specifically
talks about your work with the Barnes Group. She has spread these stories to
people in various departments, including Marketing, Accounting, Development and to those at the executive level. It is
uncertain how and when senior management will deal with this. But if you
gradually or suddenly start getting the cold shoulder by the firm, you will
know why. They may or may not come right out and tell you. When I first heard
of this, I was surprised, but took what she said at face value. Of course, this
was before I learned of her voracious appetite for propogating half-truths,
exxaggerations, gossip, and outright lies, all in the name of somehow making
herself look informed and "better." Such a pity.
She obviously has talent, but it is all negated by her vile, malicious tongue.
All I can think of is a tremendous sense of insecurity. But I digress. I just
thought you would like to know. A friend
