Welcome to the homepage for the lab of Dr.
Tim Schallert, a professor in the Institute
for Neuroscience and Department of
Psychology at The University of Texas at
Austin. Dr. Schallert is also
an adjunct professor in the Department
of Neurosurgery at the University of
Michigan and a member of the Neuroscience Institute
at the Henry Ford Health Sciences
Center. His research
specializes in the analysis of rat behavior and its applications to models of
stroke, Parkinson’s disease, brain cancer, drug abuse, and spinal cord
