Joel Wommack graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2000 with a degree in Psychology.
During the last year of his undergraduate studies, he became particularly interested in behavioral
neuroscience while working in the lab of Dr. Yvon Delville. In January 2001, he enrolled as a graduate
student at the UT Austin Institute for Neuroscience. Since being admitted to graduate school, Joel
has been awarded a Graduate Student Poster Award at the 2001 Society for Behavioral Neuroendocrinology
Meeting and was awarded the David J. Bruton Fellowship from UT Austin in 2002. Joel earned his Master's
degree in May of 2002 and is currently working towards his Ph.D.
